There lived a fragile lil’ girl,
With her silliest obsession
She once had a teddy bear,
Her favorite possession

Whom she whispered her secrets,
He was her finest distraction
She laughed, echoed her roars,
Her addiction, her foolish attraction

The girl lost her faith,
The day her parents tried
Fancyin’ her with gentle specimens,
Oh teddy! She cried and cried

Cruel inner demons took her over,
Inner peace and sleep, deprived
Nights passed, shifting sides,
Her teddy bear she badly strived

Parents told her to grow up,
Be a lady and behave
Learn to hide the deepest emotions,
Burry the coffin of tears to grave

Gradually, subtlety embraced the girl,
She camouflaged in rosy shade
The war within, the deepest remorse,
She knew with time would fade

She grew, loved and laughed yet
The teddy bear, she eventually recall,
To sense the scent and sweetest pain
While memories upon her soul befall.

My soul cries, sentiment fears
Grives with deprives, spirit wears
She ignores, plays with teddy bears
