He’ll stay,

He said.

Forever.

Forever?

isn’t that a lie ?

I am waiting

In cold

Standing on a barren land

And there he comes,

Smiling

That smile takes all

Hugging him tight

She feels complete.

And she hasn’t felt this way since years.

Feeling his skin

She’s mesmerized

And she knows

She’s ruined

Ruined to an extreme,

where nothing goes well.

Loosening his grip

He tells her to go,

Her lips go flat

She’s confused

tries to question

But couldn’t

His sudden act

Haunts her,

She wants to know,

what happened

He doesn’t tell,

And goes

Goes on his own.

She’s left,

Again

Left alone,

With nothing,

to hold onto.

Standing on that barren land,

With eyes tearing up,

She’s damaged

Damages from deep.

Paranoid she becomes.

Years later,

Sitting at the entrance

Reading her house name,

‘Mental Asylum’

She remembers.

Remembers,

How it ended.

Goosebumps arise,

Body shivers,

She starts running,

As fast as she could,

To escape.

Escape?

Can you escape ?

She stops,

with weird voices,

in her head,

in between of nowhere.

A hand she feels,

on her shoulder,

Not having the courage,

to turn back.

Seeing his face,

Again.

She wants to,

Touch him,

Feel his skin,

Hug him tight,

Feel complete.

Be at home.

But, she’s ruined,

She sees in his eyes,

And tells him..

To go.

She runs back,

Tears in her eyes,

Thoughts crowding,

in her mind.

‘Forever is a lie’,

She thinks.

Grabs a knife,

With shivering hands,

Disheveled hair.

And damaged soul.

She ends it.

Started from where,

It ends here.

That day,

It ruined her.
